授業の目的 【日本語】
Goals of the Course(JPN) | | 環境問題は、技術的に解決できる問題ではない。多様な価値観や複雑な利害関係を理解し、主体間の政治力の差に配慮しながら、意思決定を適切に行う必要がある。 本講義は、こうした環境問題の政治的側面について批判的に考えるための、基礎的素養を⾝につけることを目的とする。
本講義は三部構成である。
まず、環境政治の背後にある「環境政治思想」を概観した後、実際の政治過程について「比較環境政治」的側面から検討し、続いて「国際環境政治」として、グローバルな文脈から考察する。
全体の流れは以下の通りである。 １．環境政治思想（環境思想と政治、政治思想と環境） ２．比較環境政治（NGO、政党、官僚制、他） ３．国際環境政治（国際環境協調、南北問題、他） |

授業の目的 【英語】
Goals of the Course | | Environmental problems are as political as they are scientific, economic, and aesthetic. For example, they present serious choices in decision-making, not only about what is to be done, but also about how it gets done.
The aim of this lecture course is to provide an overview of environmental politics.
This lecture course consists of three parts: (1) environmental political thought, (2) comparative environmental politics, and (3) international environmental politics.
The first part introduces students to key concepts, ideas and ideologies in environmental politics.
The second part provides students with a basic understanding of key actors in environmental politics, such as NGOs and political parties, especially at the national level.
The third part introduces students to the international dimensions of environmental politics, such as the politics of international environmental cooperation. |

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | A final examination or essay (50%) and participation (50%).
The latter includes attendance and active involvement in class discussion and group work.
It is necessary to pass each component to complete the course successfully.
For grading standards, see the student handbook.
期末試験ないし期末レポート（50％）、その他（50％）。
「その他」には出席状況や、グループワークへの取り組み等の授業態度が含まれる。
「試験／レポート」と「その他」の両方で基準を満たすことが単位取得の要件となる。
成績評価基準については、学生便覧を参照のこと。 |
