Goals of the Course
This course is an interdisciplinary introduction to the Social Sciences, with a focus on Law and Economics. Through a series of lectures, discussions, and readings, students will learn the basic concepts of International Law and Economic Theory in order to acquire the skills and ways of thinking required to understand the rationale behind the laws and policies that regulate markets and the relations between countries.

Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
Economics report (30%), Economics presentation (15%), Law report (30%), Law presentation (15%), Comments and participation (10%). It is not possible to pass the course if you are absent four times or more. The course withdrawal system is NOT used.
