Goals of the Course
This seminar aims to provide an intensive discussion on fundamental concepts and main issues related to Intellectual Property Law and Data Protection. The immaterial nature of IP and Data generates a large number of cross border and international issues. The seminar aims to discuss several topics from international instruments, subject matter, scope of rights, ownership, infringement, transaction, among other issues that arises within Intellectual Property and Data.

Objectives of the Course
Upon completion of this seminar students should be able to have a comprehensive basic understanding of the nature of different issues of Intellectual Property Rights and legal issues of Data. We hope to also foster students to be active in giving ideas and participating in class.

Students are expected to do presentations during the semester and everyone is expected to comment on it.
