Goals of the Course
This class intends to introduce to students basic concepts about property law. Property finds a very important place in all legal systems. In this sense, the study of laws relating to property have great significance in any legal system. Starting from a historical perspective of property, the course will explain basic principles on the legal protection of property that exists in several jurisdictions. From this base, different types of property, their legal nature, their characteristics, requirements and issues.
