Goals of the Course(JPN) | | | 長文を辞書なしで理解できる能力を養い、英語の原著論文を抵抗なく読むことができるように基礎的英語力をつける。原著論文に書かれている内容については，授業で取り上げたことのない内容も含まれるため、自ら積極的に勉強する意識を高める。さらに、論文を読むだけでなく、その内容をまとめて発表することで、プレゼンテーション能力を高めることも目的とする。同時に、質問などを積極的にさせることで、内容を批判的に理解する訓練を行う。 |

Goals of the Course | | | he aim of this course is to help students acquire the basic English reading skills of scientific writing. The students should get the ability of understanding the science writings without a dictionary, and acquire basic English skills so that the students will read original English papers without difficulty. Since the original paper do not include contents that have not been taken up in class, the students have to investigate them by themselves. In addition to reading and understanding the paper, the students should improve the presentation ability by presenting and explaining the contents of the paper. At the same time, the students are encouraged to ask questions, so that they can practice critically understanding the contents of the papers. |

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan | | 【大澤】初めに、英文教科書の適当な箇所を輪読することで、科学英語を読む基礎学力を向上させる。次に、研究の内容理解をするための練習として、原著論文を読み紹介してもらう。テキストは、最初の授業の時にコピーを渡す｡
【細川】比較的平易な英語総説から始め、原著論文に移行していく。いずれもパートごとに分け、教員が指名した学生がスライドを作成し全員の前で紹介する。また全員が最低一つの質問を行う。 |
