Goals of the Course
This course focused on the metabolisms of biomolecules (Part IV, METABOLISM in the textbook), including carbohydrates, lipids, amino acids/proteins, and nucleic acids. The students learn the concept of free energy, mechanism of ATP production, catabolism and anabolism of biomolecules.

Objectives of the Course
The goal of this lecture is to understand the basic mechanism of metabolism. How biological molecules are metabolized or synthesized in our body will be the subjects of the course, and we wish students will get insights into at least the basic scheme of those metabolism from our lectures.
