細胞間相互作用を介した組織成長・恒常性維持や、その破綻により引き起こされるがんの発生・進展機構の理解を深めるために、当該分野の研究の歴史と最新の成果を学ぶ

Goals of the Course
The aim of this course is to understand the recent studies dissecting the mechanism of tissue growth, tissue homeostasis and tumor growth and progression through cell-cell communications.

受講者が授業終了時に、以下の知識・能力を身につけていることを目標とする。
１．細胞競合について理解し、説明できる。
２．細胞間相互作用を介したがんと発生制御の仕組みを理解し、説明できる。
３．上皮の形態形成とその仕組みについて理解し、説明できる。
４．蚊の吸血と摂食行動について理解し、説明できる。

Objectives of the Course
The goal of this courseare for the students to be able to:
1. Explain "cell competition".
2. Explain the underlying mecahnism of tumor growth and animal development through cell-cell communications
3. Explain epithelial morphogenesis
4. Explain blood sucking and feeding behaviors of Mosquirtoes
