Goals of the Course(JPN)

生物のアイデンティティーを決定するゲノム情報は、「染色体」という構造をとって世代を超えて伝播していく。染色体の構造がどのようにして構築され、種々の機能を発揮するのか、また細胞分裂に従ってどのようにゲノム情報が複製され、分配されるのか。それら、生物の生存に必須の分子機構を、最新の研究結果を交えながら考察する。

Goals of the Course

This course deals with the principles of chromosome biology. It also enhances the understanding of fundamental cellular mechanisms connecting cell-cycle regulation and chromosome functions and inroduces most recent researches in genomic biology fields.
