生物のかたちづくりや環境応答，行動制御などには，ホルモンやフェロモンなどの様々な細胞間・個体間シグナル分子が関与している．本講義では，植物や動物・昆虫・微生物におけるホルモンおよびフェロモンについて，それらの多彩な機能や研究の面白さについて解説する．

Goals of the Course

Various signaling molecules such as hormones and pheromones are involved in the development of organisms, environmental responses, and behavioral control. In this class, various functions and interesting aspects of research on hormones and pheromones in plants, animals, insects and microorganisms will be explained.

1. Understand and explain the functions and perception mechanisms of various hormones.
2. Understand and explain the functions and mechanism of action of various pheromones.

1. 植物や動物，昆虫の形態形成や環境応答に関わるホルモン
2. 昆虫や動物，微生物の行動を制御するフェロモン
3. ホルモンやフェロモンの認識に関わる受容体
4. 生態系を行き交う低分子揮発性シグナル

履修条件
Course Prerequisites

基礎的な生物学および化学の内容を理解していること．
この科目はabセットで履修しなくても良い．
