　３年次までに習得した専門知識を踏まえ、各研究室における卒業論文研究にいたるまでの橋渡しとなるよう、この授業ではゲノムデータベース取扱の初歩を学ぶことを目的とする。

　The purpose of this class is to learn the rudiments of genome database handling in order to bridge the gap between the specialized knowledge acquired in the third year and the graduation thesis research in each laboratory.

　ゲノムおよび遺伝子発現のデータベース取り扱い法を習得し、塩基・アミノ酸配列解析、遺伝子発現解析ができるようになる。

　本授業は、以下の項目についての講義および演習で構成される。

・データベースについての概説
・データベースからアミノ酸配列の取得
・アライメントの作成
・分子系統樹の作成
・遺伝子発現情報データの取得と共発現解析
・各自の課題の発表
