Goals of the Course
This course covers basic topics in cell biology. Students who successfully complete this course will understand fundamental biological phenomena at the molecular and cellular levels that include the cytoskeletal systems, mitosis and meiosis, and intercellular communications in multicellular organisms.
They will develop insights into the complexities of cell structure and function, the underlying molecular events, the dynamic properties of living cells, and how these contribute to the generation and functioning
of the whole organism.
