３年次までに習得した専門知識を踏まえ，各研究室における卒業論文研究にいたるまでの橋渡しとなるような項目について講義や実習を行う。「植物ゲノム利用学」では，近年，急増している植物ゲノムビックデータを利用した育種学研究分野についての知識を習得する。
