授業の目的　【日本語】
Goals of the Course(JPN)
社会調査の意義と諸類型についてその基礎的内容を学び，その広がりと社会調査が内包する難しさを理解することを目的とする。様々な社会調査のデータがどのような形で存在し、利用できるかについて理解を深めると共に、調査目的に即した調査方法の選択について学ぶ。そのうえで，調査の企画（先行研究の検討，調査対象の決定）と仮説構成、データ収集に関する試行をおこなう。調査の企画と試行に関しては，調査票調査（もしくはフィールドワーク）により、データや資料の収集から分析までの過程全体に関する理解を深める。

Goals of the Course
The purpose of this course is to learn about the significance of social research and its various types, and to understand its scope and the difficulties involved in social research. In this course, students will learn how various types of social survey data exist and can be used, as well as how to select a survey method that meets the purpose of the survey. In this course, students will learn how to select a research method that meets the purpose of the survey, how to plan the survey (reviewing previous studies and deciding on the survey target), how to construct a hypothesis, and how to conduct a trial of data collection. In this course, students will deepen their understanding of the entire process from collection of materials and data to analysis through testing their own questionnaire surveys and fieldwork.

3　自分でデータをとるには？（質問紙調査、フィールドワーク、事例研究）

5　調査データの整理と分析の試行
6　質的調査と事例研究の考え方
7　フィールドワークと参与観察の進め方
8　まとめ：社会調査の設計と実施をめぐる諸問題
履修条件・関連する科目
Course Prerequisites and Related Courses
履修条件はないが、「社会調査」（春１期）を履修していることが望ましい
成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
試験（60％）とレポート（40％）合計100点満点で60点以上を合格とする。授業で取り上げた基礎概念を適切に理解し、応用できるかどうかで判断する。
