Goals of the Course(JPN) | | | 心理・認知科学と隣接諸領域との活発なインタラクションがみられる先端的な話題について講義をおこなう。特にこの授業では，生体の脳の活動を測定・解析し，その機能を探究する手法である脳機能イメージングに関連した話題を取り上げ，ヒトの脳の構造や生理，そしてさまざまな非侵襲脳機能計測法の原理について学ぶ。 |

Objectives of the Course(JPN) | | | この授業では，人間の認知を実体としての脳活動に基づいて理解するために，ヒトの脳の解剖と生理について学び，次にこの分野で用いられる手法の非侵襲脳機能計測原理について学ぶ。これらを通して，脳との関係からこころの実体を理解し，より深く人間とは何かについて考えられる知識を身につけることが，本授業の目標である。 |

Objectives of the Course | | | The goal of this course is to acquire basic knowledge of the cognitive neuroscience, especially neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and methodology of the non-invasive measurement of the human brain function. The students will think deeply what humans are, based on basic knowledge of the cognitive neuroscience and modern experimental psychology. |

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan | | 「心理・認知科学特殊講義A2」と合わせて，さまざまな人間の認知活動に関わる心的過程と，それを支える脳の活動を取り上げ，脳と心の関係について議論する。この授業では，特にヒトの脳の解剖と生理に加え，認知神経科学の道具として使われるさまざまな脳機能イメージングの研究手法の原理について学ぶ。
〔取り扱う内容〕
1. 心の科学的研究の歴史と認知神経科学の誕生
2. ヒトの脳の構造と解剖学
3. 脳活動の生理学
4. 非侵襲脳機能計測I：PET，NIRS
5. 非侵襲脳機能計測II：fMRI
6. 非侵襲脳機能計測III：MEG，EEG, TMS
7. 生体反応計測技術：自律神経系・内分泌・免疫系
8. 二種類の脳活動：安静時脳活動と課題関連脳活動
なお，この授業は日本語でおこなう。 | Special Lecture on Cognitive and Psychological Sciences A1 and A2 will provide a general introduction to the field of cognitive neuroscience. The students will learn how the minds works, examining basic cognitive processes from a neuroscientific perspective. A1 course will especially focus on basic anatomy and physiology of human brain, and methodology of non-invasive measurement of the brain activity.

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | 授業への参加態度（10％），小テストの合計点（40％），レポート（50％）の合計100点満点で，60点以上を合格とする。
なお，この授業では履修取り下げ制度を採用せず，レポートを提出しなかったものを「欠席またはW」とし，レポートを提出したにも関わらず合計得点が60点に満たなかったものを「F（不可）」とする。 | The grading policy of this course is shown as follows: Class attendance and attitude in the class (10%), total score of quizzes (40%), report (50%). To pass, the students must earn at least 60 points out of 100.
In this course, “the course withdrawal system” was not adopted, and those who do not submit a report were designated as “absent or W”, and those whose total score is less than 60 points despite submitting a report were “F (failure)”. |

課外学習等（授業時間外学習の指示）
Study Load(Self-directed Learning Outside Course Hours) | | 講義をより深く理解するため、予め授業前に配布される資料を見て概要を把握しておき、授業中に配付された資料や紹介された参考書・関連図書を積極的に読んで復習しておくこと。
授業後に課される小テストを受けること。
また脳部位の名前は自主的に学習し、講義中に分からないということがないようにしておくこと。 | The students require to read and review the materials distributed during the class, reference books, related chart notes, actively.
The students have to take quiz after each class.
The students have to learn name of the brain regions by oneself before the class. |
