この授業では，2年秋期以降の放射線関連の専門科目の講義・実験実習のための基礎知識について学ぶことを目的とする．

The aim of this course is to learn basic knowledge for lectures and experimental-trainings in radiation-related specialized classes those will be offered thereafter.

この授業では，受講者が授業終了時に，以下の知識・能力を身につけていることを目標とする．
（１）物質の物理的・化学的反応及びそれらによる生体への作用機序を理解し，説明できる．
（２）ICRP（国際放射線防護委員会）による放射線防護体系に沿った個人と公衆の放射線防護について理解し，説明できる．

Objectives of the Course
The goals of this course are to
(1) be able to understand and explain the physical and chemical reactions of substances caused by radiation and the mechanism of action on living body.
(2) be able to understand and explain the radiation protection of individuals and the public in accordance with the radiation protection system of the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP).

履修条件は特にありません．関連する科目は，放射線生物学，放射線管理学です．
成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
期末試験を７０％，毎回の講義における討論への貢献を３０％として総点で評価します．総点６０点以上で合格とします．
なお，「討論への貢献」とは，「質問に答える発言や文献内容を要約する発言」を貢献とします．
