The course presents theories of race and interethnic relations with a focus on multicultural societies. Class participants will also become familiar with new trends of immigration and minority policies of the developed countries.

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
授業への参加度（出席・意見・発表・質問）を50％、期末レポートを50％として評価する。

Grades will be determined on class attendance, class participation and preparation(50%) and final essay(50%).

60点以上を合格とする。

A score of 60 or more considered acceptable.
