授業の目的 【日本語】 Goals of the Course(JPN) | | 社会改革や法改革は周到な計画と十分な共同作業を必要とします。専門家は、この種の企画を「改革プロジェクト」と呼ばれるものにまとめます。この講義の目的は、二つあります。第一は、「プロジェクト・マネジメント」という作業の概要と発想を理解することであり、第二は、プロジェクトの設計、プロジェクトチームの組織、きちんとした成果を出すための運営の技能を学ぶことです。 「プロジェクト・マネジメント」には、世界で共有されるやり方がいくつかあり、この講義は、入門的知識の提供と基本的な技能の訓練・体験を目的とします。参加者は、小プロジェクトの設計、チームの組織、プロジェクト運営の基礎を学びます。小プロジェクトの例として、学位論文作成を用います。

授業の目的 【英語】 Goals of the Course | | Any reform of a society or a law demands careful planning and good collaboration. Experts share the professional practice to transform a reform plan into a “Reform Project.” There are two goals of this course. The first goal is to understand the concept of “project management.” The second goal is to learn how to design a project and how to organize a project team. Then, we experience how to manage a project to produce a good result. The basic knowledge of project management is globally shared, and the course will provide the introductory part of the knowledge and skills training. Participants of this course will learn how to design, organize, and manage a small project. This course uses the thesis writing of the participants as an entry example of a small project.
*This course will be conducted in English. *Some sessions may be conducted by a guest speaker/practitioner of the project management. *Due to social circumstances, some sessions may be conducted online. |

履修条件・関連する科目 Course Prerequisites and Related Courses | | Though this course is offered at the graduate school of law, no knowledge of the law is required. Participants' interest in managing programs, reforms, and collaboration is important. |

成績評価の方法と基準 Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | The course evaluation will consider the following performance by the participant: 1. Submission of all assignments related to each class; 2. Two presentations (mid-term & final presentations) with the handouts; 3. Submission of a project proposal document based on the participant's thesis research.
Contribution to class collaboration on project management will account for 30%, submission of assignments for 30 %, and a project proposal document 40%. *The perfect score is 100 points, and the passing score is 60 points. |

課外学習等(授業時間外学習の指示) Study Load(Self-directed Learning Outside Course Hours) | | Students are expected to have an additional 2-3 hours of self-learning as follows; -Before the class: Preparation of presentation materials is the participant's responsibility (60 minutes) -After the class (Reflection): There are assignments to improve the skills of management, such as reading assignments, reflecting, reviewing notes, preparing for presentations, and writing a proposal (120 minutes) |

授業開講形態等 Lecture format, etc. | | This course will be taught in the classroom throughout the semester. but it may be conducted concurrently depending on the social situation such as the global pandemic. In each class, the instructor will make a short lecture. The remaining time of the class is for discussion and workshops.

遠隔授業(オンデマンド型)で行う場合の追加措置 Additional measures for remote class (on-demand class) | | 遠隔授業は基本的にはNUCTで行う。教員への質問方法、学生同士の意見交換の方法は次のとおりとする。なお、教員より別の指示がある場合は、その指示に従うこと。 ・教員への質問は、NUCT機能「メッセージ」により行うこと。 ・授業に関する受講学生間の意見交換は、NUCT機能「メッセージ」により行うこと。 (※担当教員が「フォーラム」機能を追加設定した場合は「フォーラム」も利用可。) Remote classes are conducted via NUCT basically. Questions to instructors should be asked using the NUCT "Message" function. Student discussions will be conducted using the NUCT "Message" function. (If the instructor has added the "Forum" function, the "Forum" can also be used.) Follow your instructor's directions if your instructor has any other directions. |
