18世紀から現代にいたる経済学の歴史を概観し、今後の展望を考察する。そのために西洋思想、経済学史上の重要な古典を英語で購読していく。

This class is designed to understand the historical background of the emergence of economic science. Method: read and discuss the 18th century political and social writings of the Scottish Enlightenment.
Material: extracts from the original texts of 18th century Scottish moral philosophers
