Goals of the Course
This course aims that students will share aspects of their research as it develops with their advisors and other interested students, in order to collect feedback from the discussions and continue improving steadily.

At the end of the course, all students will be able to:
1. Demonstrate an understanding of the research methods necessary for economics or business academic papers.
2. Present academic papers.
3. Engage in academic discussion.
4. Produce a complete academic draft.

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
1. Presentations (40%): Presentations will be graded using a grading rubric provided in class.
2. Draft (30%): Students' drafts will be graded by the instructor at the end of the course.
3. Discussant (20%): One student will be assigned as a discussant to each research presentation to lead a discussion. The discussant's performance will be graded using a grading rubric provided in class.
4. Class participation (10%): Students who actively participate in discussions will receive points for class participation.

Lecture format, etc.
If the educational activity level is 1 or less, face-to-face lessons will be held in principle. However, for students who do not wish to take face-to-face lessons, it will be conduct "face-to-face / ICT-based remote classes (two-way or simultaneous on-demand)". ICT-based remote classes will be conduct by NUCT etc. When conducting an on-demand lesson, students should use the NUCT feature "Messages" to ask teachers questions and exchange opinions about lessons between students.
