セミナーI-bを受け，科学技術と社会の関係・情報社会における倫理・芸術による新しい価値の創造と
社会による受容・植物や動物と人間の共生等に関する基礎的知識と広い関心を身につけた受講者が，各分野の諸問題とその関連研究を理解するべく，輪読，ディスカッション等を行う。

Following Seminar I-b, this course deals with the problems and their related studies of the following subjects.
・Desirable relationship between science technology and society
・Ethics in information society
・New value creation in art and its acceptance in society
・Symbiotic relationship of animals, plants, and human beings

Following Seminar I-b, students are requested to understand various problems and related studies in each field through journal reading and discussion.
授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan
科学技術社会論・情報倫理・情報美学・芸術学・文化情報学等のジャーナル論文を，それが扱う諸問題とその問題整理方法を意識しながら輪読し，ディスカッションを行う。
また，フィールド調査の実践的な技術を獲得する。

〔計画〕
1. 情報社会の諸問題と各専門分野の関係
2. 問題は論文中のどこに現れるか
3. その問題は当該分野のいかなる問題解決の型を継承しているのか
4. その問題は先行する解決法にいかなる態度を取っているのか
5. その問題は当該論文のなかでどのように再定式化されているか
6. その問題が再定式化されるときの暗黙の前提は何か
7. 諸問題とフィールド調査の関係
8. 問題を意識したフィールド調査の実践

2. How to read papers in academic journals
3. Patterns of problem-solving
4. Distances from previous studies
5. Reformation of the problems
6. Implicit premises for reformation

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
資料作成課題の評価５０％，期末試験５０％，合計１００点満点で６０点以上を合格とする。
