Goals of the Course(JPN)
セミナーⅠ-cを踏まえ，修士論文の執筆に焦点を当てて，その構成と理論的検討を行う。各自の研究を想定しながら，関連する著作について，教員と演習参加者とがセミナー方式で討論することによって，専門知識を深めるとともに，研究に必要な論理的思考，コミュニケーション能力を涵養する。

Goals of the Course
Based on the knowledge and skills acquired in Global Media Studies I-c, this seminar aims to examine the structure and theories of each students’ master’s thesis. In addition, it aims to develop students’ specialized knowledge and skills for logical thinking and discussion through seminar-style discussions with the instructor about the students’ research topics and the relevant works.

Objectives of the Course(JPN)
グローバル社会におけるメディア・コミュニケーションを研究対象にするにあたって必要な理論を，Ⅰ-cよりも幅広く検討し，各自の研究テーマに沿って適切な文献をレビューできるように指導する。
演習参加者は，研究状況について，適宜プレゼンテーションを行うことで，プレゼンテーション能力とともに，適切に研究を進めていく上での論理的思考，コミュニケーション能力を涵養する。

In this seminar, a more extensive examination than in Global Media Studies I-c of the theories essential for analyzing media communication in global society will be conducted. Through this examination, at the end of the course, students will be expected to be able to appropriately review previous research. Students will improve their skills for setting research questions and communication by reading, discussing and presenting the representative works, and by making and presenting their own research plans especially focusing on methodology.
