授業の目的　【日本語】
Goals of the Course(JPN)
セミナーⅠ-dを踏まえ，修士研究の方法論，調査手法について検討する。各自の修士論文の執筆に焦点を当てて，代表的著作の方法論的検討を行いながら，各自の調査手法や方法論について，発表と討議を中心としたセミナー方式で検討する。ここでは社会科学の研究者として必要となるプレゼンテーション能力やディスカッション能力を涵養し，研究をめぐる倫理についても確認する。

Goals of the Course
Based on the knowledge and skills acquired in Global Media Studies I-d, this seminar aims to examine method of analysis and surveying. By examining the methodologies of representative works, participants will be able to evaluate the method of research and survey of their own master thesis through seminar-style discussion. In addition, it also aims to develop students’ presentation and discussion skills which are necessary for researchers in the social sciences and humanities. Research ethics are also instructed in this seminar.

Objectives of the Course(JPN)
グローバル社会におけるメディア・コミュニケーションを研究対象にするにあたって必要な方法論について各自の研究の先行研究を検討し,そのうえで各自が研究テーマに沿った方法論を選択しているか検討する。
演習参加者は，自身の研究成果について，プレゼンテーションを行い，その過程で表現力や討論の技法を学ぶ。
また，研究をめぐる倫理上の課題についても適宜指導する。

Students will examine the methodologies essential for analyzing media communication in global society by evaluating the methods and previous literature of each research field. By doing this, they will be able to verify whether they have selected the most appropriate method for conducting their own research. Participants will learn skills for expression and discussion by presenting their research results. Research ethics will also be introduced.
