講義，演習，セミナーを通して身につけた，情報学の方法論，問題解決能力を深めるために，企業などにおけるインターンシップに参加する。条件を満たしたインターンシップ活動に単位を与える。受講生は，知識の応用力を涵養できる。

The aim of this lecture is to deepen the informatics methodology and problem solving skills, which are acquired through lectures, exercises, and seminars through internships at companies, etc.

情報学研究科と協定を結んだ受け入れ先企業において，実践的な研究開発の経験を積むことで，自分の進路を見据える機会を持ち，現実社会を意識した学習及び研究の姿勢を育成することを目的とする。

Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to give students an opportunity to look into their career path and cultivate a society-conscious learning and working attitude. This is achieved by providing research and development experience at companies that have signed an agreement with Graduate School of Informatics.
授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan
参加希望学生は，あらかじめ事前研修を受講する。
学生は情報学研究科と協定を結んだ企業に数週間程度滞在し，企業側の担当者の指導のもとで研究開発に従事する。
実習終了後には，学生が作成した報告書と企業側担当者が作成した評定書を提出する。
また，受け入れ企業の担当者と指導教員の前で，実習報告会を開催する。
その後，指導教員による事後指導を行い，報告書，評定書及び成果報告会の結果をもとに成績を評価し単位を認定する。

Students wishing to attend will take preliminary training. Each student visits one of the collaborating companies for several weeks, and is involved in their research and development activities under the supervision of a person in charge of the company. After that, the student submits a self-written report and an evaluation sheet drawn up by their supervisor at the comapny. Also, the student gives a presentation to the supervisors of the laboratory and company. Finally, the supervisor of the laboratory provides follow-up mentoring, evaluates the student’s grade based on the scores for their report, evaluation sheet, and presentation, and certifies their achieved credits.

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
報告書，評定書及び成果発表の内容で総合的に評価し，合計１００点満点で６０点以上を合格とする。
The final grade will be determined from the scores for the report, the evaluation sheet, and the presentation. To pass, students must earn at least 60 points out of 100.
