Goals of the Course | | | The research in social cognition analyzes how people form the understanding of their social environment which comprises interpersonal relationships, influences from groups and culture that one belongs to, and even their self-concept. In this lecture, we will discuss issues concerning the mechanism of information processing about social events, and the structure of relevant mental representations. |

Objectives of the Course(JPN) | | | 本年度は特に、社会集団の間に生じる認知・感情･動機づけなどの過程に焦点を当てて論考する。集団間関係に関する研究の主な目的は、ステレオタイプや偏見、対立と紛争、そして近年問題となっている社会的分断などの、心理的な原因を明らかにすることと、これらの社会問題を解決するための方策を模索することである。心理学に限らず、社会科学・情報科学諸分野の観点と知識・理解を積極的に投入した、重層的な討論を目指す。 |

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan | | 課題文献として、各分野において中核的な意味をもつ古典的論文を選んで指定するとともに、最新の論考を紹介するための文献も採用する。
主として以下のトピックスについて議論する予定である。
1. 集団間関係と社会的アイデンティティー
2. 望まれない社会的アイデンティティーの影響
3. 社会的カテゴリー化と認知表象
4. 集団間感情
5. 集団間関係の政治性
6. 国際関係の認知
7. アイデンティティー消費行動
8. まとめ | Classic works as well as the current literature in this area will be selected as reading assignments.
