This course deals with the advanced concepts of the atmospheric science and aims to obtain better skill in making oral-presentation and scientific discussion.

本講究の到達目標は以下のとおりである。
1. 下層大気から中層大気中での物理過程、化学過程に関するより進んだ知識を習得する。
2. 大気観測の手法やデータ解析に関する基礎的技術を習得する
3. 大気科学関係のより進んだ専門書や論文の内容をわかりやすくまとめて発表し、議論できる能力を獲得する。

到達目標　【英語】
Objectives of the Course

The goals of this course are
1. to obtain the advanced knowledge about the chemical and physical processes of minor constituents in the lower and middle atmosphere.
2. to obtain the basic techniques of atmospheric measurements and data analysis.
3. to obtain the skill of intelligible presentation and discussion about the contents of advanced textbooks and reference papers on atmospheric science.

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan

下層・中層大気科学に関するテキストや文献を読んで発表するとともに、自身の研究内容を発表する。また、教員や、他の学生、関連分野の研究者の研究発表を聞き、議論に参加する。発表者は事前に発表内容の要旨をまとめ、受講者全員に配布すること。他の学生はその要旨を事前に読んで関連事項の学習をしておくこと。

Students make presentations about their research topics, contents of textbooks, or research papers concerning to the lower and middle atmospheric science. Students also join the discussions on the related topics presented by other students, teachers, and other scientists. Before the class, the presenter must summarize an abstract of presentation and distribute it to all the participants. The other students must read the abstract and study related matters to attend the class.
