2. 観測手法、データ解析手法に関する理解を深める。
3. 大気科学関係の高度な専門書や最先端の研究論文の内容、また自分の研究内容を要領よく説明できるようにする。 |

Objectives of the Course | | The goals of this course are
1. to obtain the comprehensive and latest knowledge about the chemical and physical processes of minor constituents in the lower and middle atmosphere and to place the students’ individual research subjects in the related research fields appropriately,
2. to obtain the advanced techniques of atmospheric observations and data analysis,
3. to obtain the skill of intelligible presentation and discussion about the contents of advanced textbooks and the cutting-edge topics in journal papers on atmospheric science. |

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan | | 中層・下層大気科学に関するテキストや文献を読んで発表するとともに、自身の研究内容を発表する。また、教員や、他の学生、関連分野の研究者の研究発表を聞き、議論に参加する。発表者は事前に発表内容の要旨をまとめ、受講者全員に配布すること。他の学生はその要旨を事前に読んで関連事項の学習をしておくこと。
Students make presentations about their research topics, contents of textbooks, or research papers concerning to the lower and upper atmospheric science. Students also join the discussions on the related topics presented by other students, teachers, and other scientists. Before the class, the presenter must summarize an abstract of presentation and distribute it to all the participants. The other students must read the abstract and study related matters to attend the class. |

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | セミナーにおける口頭発表(50%)およびセミナーにおける議論・発言などをもとに評価する。100点満点中60点以上で合格とする。
Presentations (50%) and discussions (50%) during the seminar are scored. Students must earn at least 60 points out of 100 to pass the course. |
