Goals of the Course | | | The aim of this course is to support graduate students acquire the necessary skills and knowledge needed to achieve a better performance in their international agricultural studies especially. The goals of this course are to develop the ability to think how to utilize outcomes from fundamental or basic agricultural/biological researches to social implementation program on rural development in the tropics. |

Objectives of the Course | | | After learning about the climate and natural environment in the tropics, soil fertility, etc., students understand the establishment of crop cultivation and the transition of agricultural technology at each development stage in each region, and learn about cultivation technology for stabilizing production. Students will then acquire the ability to consider measures to effectively link elemental technology research to social implementation. |

Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on class attendance and attitude in class.
A correct understanding of the basic concepts and terms related to agricultural culture and cultivation techniques is the criterion for passing. |
