Goals of the Course(JPN)
The seminar series will focus on academic writing exercises, primary source analysis and discussion of case studies. Alternatively, if there is a topic students would like to focus on for that seminar, such as office hours for their individual research projects, the seminar will focus on that.

Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
Participation in classroom discussions (50%) and presentation skills (50%). Students should get the minimum of 'C' in each category to pass the course.
