授業の目的 【日本語】 Goals of the Course(JPN) | | 本特論は、国際開発海外実地研修実習(OFW)に参加する学生を対象とし、調査対象国の基本情報、調査法、データ分析法などの知識・技術を提供するものである。学生は本特論を履修することにより、調査地の現状や自身の調査題目に関連する議論を理解し、現地調査の準備ができるようになることを目指す。2022年度はフィリピンで調査を実施する。 |

授業の目的 【英語】 Goals of the Course | | This course aims to provide the students who join GSID Overseas Fieldwork (OFW) with basic information about the country of study, fieldwork methods, and data analysis methods. Students will be able to understand the field site and current discussion related to their research topics to get ready for fieldwork. In 2022, students will conduct fieldwork in the Philippines. |

授業の内容や構成 Course Content / Plan | | Five classes aim to provide the background of the country of study and related topics in the field. Four classes aim to provide knowledge about research methods. In addition to the lectures, students are required to do two group presentations during the course.

注意事項 Notice for Students | | • Those who are willing to take this course should attend the guidance at the beginning of April 2022. • All students who join OFW are required to take this course for credits. • If the situation of COVID-19 gets worse, the fieldwork will be conducted online. • Classes will be given by resource persons both within and outside of GSID. |
