The objective of the course lies in offering the opportunities to participants to talk with and listen to those lectures who have worked in international institutions, business and non-organization and who can share their experiences and insights.

Objectives of the Course
The course aims at acquiring global perspectives and insights crucial when participants work as a leader in international organization, business and NGOs so that participants can plan their career and build skill portfolio in pursuing career in those institutions.
授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan
This course subject offers guest speaker lecture series, consisting of a total of seven lectures by four guest speakers who work or have worked at international organizations, international business organization and international NGOs in the global arena as a leader. The guest speakers discuss the nature of their work and introduce activities that their organizations carry out. They also provide students with information and tips that are helpful for students to prepare for working at international organizations in future. Through intensive lectures and discussions provided by guest lecturers, students are expected to acquire 1) comprehension of global issues, particularly those related to SDGs, 2) ability to look at issues from a comprehensive perspective and practical skills useful to work at international organizations.
The classes will meet at 15:00 – 18:00 on the first Wednesdays of each month in the Fall semester.
Details on the guest speakers and their topics will be notified in due course.

Participants are required to be aware of current topics in international institutions, business and NGOs.
成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
After each session, students are required to write a short paper. Course evaluation will be made based on participation in class discussions and the quality of short papers. Credit is given of C- or C(where applicable)or higher for each graded criterion.

There is no single text on this course. However, reading materials will be distributed before or in the class.

Study Load(Self-directed Learning Outside Course Hours)
Each lectures give reading materials before or in the class, which participants are expected to read and make report. Students are requested to present her current interests in international economy, business and politics in the class.

Students are expected to make an active participation in the class. The class is designed to be as interactive as possible so that lecturers ask participants to speak and share their thoughts.
