この講義は、観光事象のプラスとマイナスの影響について、学生に深く広く理解することを目的としています。コースは主に観光の経済的側面を扱います。また、観光の社会的・文化的側面は、先進国と途上国の両方で持続可能な観光を理解するために議論します。

Goals of the Course
The lecture aims to provide students with a deep and broad understanding of the positive and negative impacts of tourism events. The course deals mainly with the economic aspect of tourism. Moreover, tourism’s social and cultural aspects will discuss to understand sustainable tourism in both developed and developing countries.

Students will be better to take Developing Macroeconomics, and Developing Microeconomics

Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
Credit is given to C- or C (where applicable) or higher grade for each criterion.
participation to class discussion : 50% Term paper; 50%

Points of evaluation.
- Regarding the discussion in the class, students require to explain the tourism events of their countries in terms of economic, social, and environmental aspects.
- Regarding the term paper, all three elements of sustainable tourism should be included with statistical evidence.
