The course presents theories of race and interethnic relations with a focus on multicultural societies. Class participants will also become familiar with new trends of immigration and minority policies of the developed countries.

Course Evaluation Method and Criteria

授業への参加度（出席・意見・質問）を 50％、個別発表を 50％として評価する。それぞれについて Cまたは C（該当する場合）以上を合格要件とする。
Grades will be determined on class attendance, class participation and preparation (50%) and oral
presentation(s) (50%). Credit is given to C- or C (where applicable) or higher grade for each criterion.
