授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan | | 4月13日（水）5限にて、ガイダンスを予定。NUCTのお知らせを見ること。
この授業では、名古屋周辺で起こっている様々な環境問題のうち、以下の(1)～(3)の３つのテーマを対象として、事前学習と現地調査を踏まえ、その状況、原因、今後の見通し、解決策などを議論する。
履修登録後、各回テーマに関連する調査課題を個別に指定する。受講者は指定された調査課題について、自分で調べて他者にわかるようレポートをまとめ、期限までに提出すること。また課題によっては、他の受講生が作成したレポートを読んだ上で、自らの考えを交えてレポートを作成する、あるいは質疑応答を求める場合がある。なお、（１）（２）の現地訪問は終日、（３）の現地訪問は12時から17時を予定している。
（１）名古屋都心の自然環境と都市環境： 5月28日（土）〔予備日：5月29日（日）〕、事前討論は5月25日（水）
大都市市街地における自然環境と都市環境の問題（特に都心の地形・水系・緑地と市街地の関係、市街地における大気環境、既存の都市基盤施設や建築物と都市環境の問題など）について、名古屋市の都心を歩きながら議論する。大気環境については、空気に含まれる微粒子（エアロゾル粒子）濃度を歩きながら計測して、自動車交通量や周囲の状況との関係について理解を深める。受講者が20名を超える場合は、交通安全の観点から受講者を2班に分け、現地訪問を2回（5月28日・29日）実施するので、いずれかに参加のこと。
（２）濃尾平野西部の環境問題と自然災害： 6月18日（土）、事前討論は6月15日（水）
濃尾平野西部では、人間と水に関連した様々な環境問題や自然災害が起きてきた。これらの歴史と現状を藤前干潟、輪中の里と長良川河口堰を訪問することで理解を深め、この地域の人と水に関する将来にわたる持続可能性について現場で議論しながら考察する。
（３）持続可能な社会づくり：民間企業等の課題：8月第1週の平日(現在調整中)、事前討論は7月27日（水）
産業廃棄物処理・リサイクル業の日本における最大手の民間企業における現場視察を通して、その技術的・経営的・社会的側面についての課題を考察する。
| The guidance will be scheduled from 16:30 to 18:00 on April 13 at the Lecture Hall of the Building of GSES.
In this class, among various environmental problems occurring around Nagoya, the following three themes (1) to (3) are targeted, and the situation, causes, and future prospects are based on prior learning and field surveys, discuss solutions etc.
Study subjects for each theme will be listed by the faculty members. Students are requested to study an assigned subject and to submit a report on the subject based on the following researches. It is also planned that students will revise their reports and/or discuss online after reading reports of the other students. Then both of (1) and (2) site visit will be scheduled for all day, (3) site visit will be scheduled from 12:00 to 17:00.
(1) Problems of natural and urban environment in central areas of Nagoya megacity
Lecture: May 25, Site visit: May 28 or 29.
We will discuss whole of above problems, especially relations between topography, water systems, green spaces and urban areas, atmospheric environment (such as atmospheric aerosol particles and CO2), existing urban infrastructure and buildings. If there would be more than 20 students, the students will be divided into two groups from the viewpoint of traffic safety, and the site visits will be conducted twice (May 28th and 29th), so please participate in one of them.
(2) Environmental problems and natural disasters in western part of the Noubi Plain
Lecture: June 15, Site visit: June 18.
Western part of the Noubi Plain includes the deltaic estuarine region of the Kiso Three Rivers, where agricultural lands and residential areas are distributed below the sea level and floods have occurred periodically. The Nagaragawa River Mouth Dam was constructed in this area, and the Fujimae Mud Flat has been preserved as a registered wetland under the Ramsar Convention. Considering the history and current situations, we will discuss the relation between nature and human activities in this area.
(3) Creating a sustainable society — issues for private companies, etc.
Lecture: July 27, Site visit: the first week on August.
Regarding waste treatment and resource regeneration, which are indispensable for realizing a sustainable society, we will visit the Daiseki Co. Ltd., at Minami-ku, Nagoya, and study melting treatment and resource recycling facilities. |
