Goals of the Course | | This course aims at enhancing the participants' understanding of basic concepts and theories in environmental law and their analytical capacities through examining and discussing primary or secondary texts of environmental law.

1) Accurately understand and critically analyze materials on environmental law and policy, and
2) Obtain information on and identify issues concerning certain environmental laws or policies. |

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan | | | 報告者が指定された文献(の部分)について報告し、これに基づき参加者全員で議論を行う。取り上げる文献については、参加者と相談の上決定する。また履修者は本セミナーで実施される研究倫理教育ガイダンスの受講を必須とする。 | | In each session, a participant presents the designated part of the text assigned to him/her followed by the discussion in the whole class. The texts to be discussed in this course will be decided after consulting with the participants at the first session. All participants are required to attend the Guidance session on research ethics conducted as part of this seminar. |

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | | 担当部分に関する報告及び毎回の授業への準備・参加の状況により評価する。担当部分につき相当の理解が示され、及び毎回の授業における議論への参加がある程度なされていること、を合格基準とする。 | | Presentations concerning the assigned materials or topics, preparation for and participation in each session are evaluated. To gain a passing grade, presentation of good understanding of the assignments and participation in discussions are necessary. |

Textbook | | | 扱う文献については、参加者とも相談のうえ、初回の授業の際に決定する。候補文献を事前に把握したい学生は、授業開始1週間ほど前に、教員に問い合わせられたい。 | | The text(s) read and discussed in the class will be decided in the first session, after consulting the participants. Those who wish to know the options for the text(s) in advance may contact the instructor around 1 week before the first session. |
