Goals of the Course(JPN) | | 【授業の目的】本科目では、階級・階層論、集団・ネットワーク形成論、集合行為論の概念と発想を習得し、社会構造・地域社会と集合的行為主体形成の関係を動態的・総合的にとらえる知識と観点を身につける。修士論文の作成に向けて発想力・応用力を高めながら、参加者が各自の研究テーマを深めていくことをねらいとする。

Goals of the Course | | In this seminar each student is required to learn the theories and perspectives of social class, group/network formation and collective action to explain complex causal relationships between social structure, social consciousness and social action (S-C-A scheme).

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan | | 【授業の構成】英文を中心とした関連文献を精読し、討論をおこなう。本年度は社会階層構造をめぐる集合的行為主体のアイデンティティとネットワーク形成の関連をテーマとする。文献を要約するだけでなく、各自の問題関心からおこなう報告とコメントの内容を重視する。あわせて、参加者各自の研究テーマに関する自由報告の機会を設け、修士論文作成のため研究の方向づけをおこなう。
参加者は文献報告と個人研究報告をあわせ2回程度の報告をおこなう。
【履修条件・関連する科目】学部専門課程卒業レベルの社会学の知識が履修の前提になる。。
【授業時間外学習の指示】文献の予習の他に、自身の報告に際しては長時間の自宅学習が必要になるので留意すること。
また履修者は本セミナーで実施される研究倫理教育ガイダンスの受講を必須とする。 | In this seminar we read and interpret English/Japanese literature on social class and collective action theory to investigate the relation betweeen identities held by collective actors and networks formed among them. To develop research skills and thereafter to complete the master's thesis, active involvement is appreciated and opportunities provided to discuss each participant's ongoing research theme. All participants are required to attend the Guidance session on research ethics conducted as part of this seminar.

Course Evaluation Method and Criteria | | | 文献の報告(40%)と自身の研究テーマに関連した報告(40%)、および議論への貢献度など平常点(20%)による。 | | Through estimating each student's presentation performance, attendance rate and contribution to discussion. |
