本授業では、各学生の専門分野における最先端の知識を深めるとともに、自身の研究内容や関連する論文の紹介を通して科学的なコミュニケーション技術を向上させることを目的とする。DP2およびDP4に対応。

This seminar aims that students acquire a deeper knowledge of the most recent advances in their field and improve their communication skills by presenting their own research or related scientific publications to a multidisciplinary audience. This class applies to DP2 and DP4.

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan
参加者の研究進捗や最先端の研究に関する話題を報告し、出席者による議論を行う。環境システム、地質学、地球生物学、地球化学、宇宙化学、地球惑星物理学、生態学、地球惑星ダイナミクス、地球年代学、自然史学等のトピックから参加者の研究内容に従って選ぶ。
参加者はセミナーの内容をまとめるとともに専門用語について復習する。
本コースの一環として初回に研究倫理に関するガイダンスを行う。
Research progress of each member and latest research topics will be reported and discussed among the participants. The topics will be chosen from the fields of environmental systems, geology and geobiology, geochemistry and cosmochemistry, earth and planetary physics, ecology, earth and planetary dynamics, and geochronology and natural history.
Participants are requested to summarize the content and to review techincal terms learned in a class.
All participants are required to attend the Guidance session on research ethics conducted as part of this seminar.

受講生は研究進捗、発見、問題点などをまとめた発表を用意する。セミナーで行われた議論についてセミナー後に検討する。
Students prepare their presentation to summarize their progress, findings, and problems. Discussion during the seminar should be considered after the seminar.
