Goals of the Course(JPN)
１．医療を要する人とその家族のニーズや社会的背景を包括的に把握し，生涯にわたる健康生活の実現に向けて効果的な支援体制の形成と調整能力を養う。
２．高齢者を中心として，医療を要する人とその家族の生活を視野に入れた医療・保健の意義を理解し，生活の場に応じた健康的な生活を創出（planning）する具体的な援助の視点および能力を養う。
３．医療を要する人とその家族の健康状態と健康課題について理解する。

Goals of the Course
The goals of this course are to:
1. Comprehensively understand the needs and social backgrounds of people requiring medical care as well as those of their families and develop the ability to form and coordinate effective support systems for the realisation of a lifelong healthy existence.
2. Understanding the significance of medical care and health with a view to the lives of people in need of such care and those of their families, centred on older adults, and the perspective and ability of specific assistance to create a healthy existence according to the life stage.
3. Understanding the health status and health challenges of people in need of medical care and their families

・医療を要する人と家族の健康について，ライフサイクルと健康課題の視点から理解する。
・医療を要する人と家族の健康な生活を目指して専門職としての役割と連携の重要性について，理解する。
・医療を要する人と家族の身体・精神・環境（物理，人的，制度）の側面に対し，評価ができる。
・医療を要する人と家族の支援に必要な保健・医療・福祉サービスを検討できる。

Objectives of the Course
At the end of this class, students will be able to:
・Understand the health of people in need of medical care as well as that of their families from the perspective of life cycle and health issues.
・Understand the importance of professional roles and collaboration for the healthy lives of people in need of medical care and those of their families.
・Evaluate the physical, mental, and environmental aspects of people in need of medical care and those of their families
・Consider the health, medical, and welfare services necessary to support people in need of medical care and those of their families.
