授業の目的　【日本語】
Goals of the Course(JPN)
精神医学領域の疾患と作業療法との関わりを中心に、研究の指導と論文の作成指導に当たる。精神医学領域の疾患における様々な病態を学び、脳神経科学的な理論に基づいた研究指導と文献の講読を進め、最終的に作業療法学の発展に寄与する研究成果につなげることを目的とする。その中で科学的論理性、倫理性、人間性を養い、国際的視野と使命感を持った人材を育成する。

Goals of the Course
This course deals with the advanced knowledge of major psychiatric disorders (schizophrenia, mood disorder, autism spectrum disorder, etc.) based on brain and neural sciences. The aim of the course is to help students conduct their PhD studies which contribute to occupational therapy research. It also help students acquire logical and global thinking, sense of humanity, and ethics of scientific research.

授業終了時に、以下のことができるようになることを目標とする。
・研究計画を立案し、必要なデータを収集することができる。
・データを分析し、結果を正しく解釈できる。
・研究成果を論理的に文章で記述し論文を作成する。
・研究成果を口頭で発表し、議論を通して研究の意義と課題を指摘できる。

Objectives of the Course
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the following:
・Conduct the study and sample the data,
・Analyze the data and explain the results appropriately,
・Write a manuscript logically and present the study,
・Discuss the results and explain the significance of the study.
授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan
研究内容を吟味し、さらに発展させ、実行可能で新奇な研究計画を策定し、倫理委員会への申請を行う。倫理申請が承認された後に実験を開始し、必要なサンプル数に至った場合はデータの解析処理を行う。結果を解釈し、既存研究との比較検討を行い、最終的には修士論文として完成させる。

英文読解能力は必須である。コンピュータ・リテラシーは必須である。
成績評価の方法と基準

論文の完成度をもって評価する。
