このセミナーの目的は，数理情報学を学ぶ学生が，博士論文を書くための研究を進める上で必要な知識を身につけ，また，関連分野の専門書や論文等の内容をセミナー形式で深く理解し，分かりやすく発表する力を養うことである．

Goals of the Course
In this seminar, fundamental knowledge in mathematics and informatics will be taught in order for students to prepare research toward their dissertations in the field of mathematical informatics. In particular, to discover each student's interests and preferences, the participants in this seminar are expected to present various texts, which include suitable textbooks and research papers. Through this seminar, we assist the students to make their research plans. For the possible research topics for this seminar, please contact the instructor.

Objectives of the Course(JPN)
博士前期課程で習得した数理科学と情報学の知識を基に，自然現象や社会現象に関わる未解明の問題を探る数理情報学上の発展的研究に向けた高度な指導を行う。
引き続き，修士論文の発展性を探るため，関連する学術書・研究論文の講読・輪講などを行い，博士学位論文のおおよその方向性を定めることを目指す。

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan
数理情報学モデル論セミナーII-aを受けて，各自の研究テーマに関する文献レビューなどをさらに進め，そのテーマの最新の研究動向について理解を深める。
さらに，そのテーマに関連して解決すべき問題，必要とする基礎理論が何であるかを議論し整理する。

〔計画〕
1. 各自の研究テーマに関する学術書・研究論文の講読・輪講などを行う。
2. 講読・輪講などを通して，最新の研究動向について理解を深める。
3. 各自の研究テーマに関連して解決すべき問題，必要とする基礎理論が何であるかを議論し整理する。
4. 数理情報学に関する博士学位論文のおおよその方向性を定める。
履修条件・関連する科目

履修条件は要さないが，学んでおくことが望ましい基礎知識について指導教員に訪ねることを推奨する．
成績評価の方法と基準
