このセミナーの目的は，数理情報学を学ぶ学生が，博士論文を書くための研究を進める上で必要な知識を身につけ，また，関連分野の専門書や論文等の内容をセミナー形式で深く理解し，分かりやすく発表する力を養うことである．

Goals of the Course
In this seminar, fundamental knowledge in mathematics and informatics will be taught in order for students to prepare research toward their dissertations in the field of mathematical informatics. In particular, to discover each student's interests and preferences, the participants in this seminar are expected to present various texts, which include suitable textbooks and research papers. Through this seminar, we assist the students to make their research plans. For the possible research topics for this seminar, please contact the instructor.

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan
これまでに発展的実施した研究・実験から得られた結果を精査することで，学術的に意味のある結論・結果が得られたか，
予期していなかった結論・結果が得られたか，そうした結論・結果にはどのような理論的解釈が可能かなどを検討する。
また，実施した研究の手法の限界や問題点についても議論し，必要に応じて，新たな発展的研究・実験を計画する。

〔計画〕
1. 研究成果を精査することにより，学術的な意味・価値について検討する。
2. 予期せぬ結論・結果が得られたときにはその理由を検討する。
3. 実施した研究の手法の限界や問題点についても議論する。
4. 必要に応じて，新たな発展的研究・実験を計画する。

履修条件は要さないが，学んでおくことが望ましい基礎知識について指導教員に訪ねることを推奨する．
