情報システムのプラットフォームについて，いくつかの少人数のクラスに分かれてセミナーを行うことで，問題の発見とその解決プロセスの実証能力を向上させることを目的とする。

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan
各研究グループで具体的なテーマに応じ，例えば，組込みシステム設計技術，マルチ・メニーコアプロセッサ，リアルタイムオペレーティングシステム，情報システムセキュリティ，省エネルギー計算技術などからテーマを選び，テキストの輪講，論文の紹介，事例の分析などを行う。
また，受講者各自が博士後期課程でおこなった実験・調査の成果，および今後の研究計画について体系的な発表をし，複数の実験・調査からなる長期的な研究の進め方について議論する。

〔計画〕
セミナー形式で各研究グループにおいて実施する。
The students are divided into a few groups. Classes of each group are given in a seminar style including reading papers or textbooks and case studies. Each student is required to present theoretical deepening and experiments based on discussion in previous seminars, and to discuss long-term research plan. The topics of each group will be chosen in information platform fields, which include, but are not limited to, embedded system design, multi-/many-core processors, real-time operating systems, information security, and energy efficient computing.

Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
研究発表および研究課題に対する質疑回答などから総合的に判断する。具体的テーマに関する技術的課題について説明・応用できることを基準とする。
Grading will be determined based on participation, punctuality, presentation and assignments.
