知能システム学の基盤となる「信号処理，パターン認識，機械学習」等に関して，英文論文執筆を視野に入れた英文論文作成技術について学ぶとともに，受講生同士の発表や討論も取り入れ，各自の能力向上を図る。

Students will learn skills to write English papers on the research fields of Intelligent Systems such as signal processing, pattern recognition, machine learning, etc. Also, students will improve their skills through presentations and discussions with other students.

授業の内容や構成
Course Content / Plan
基礎理論の知識獲得のため，当該分野の基礎的な教科書等の輪読とともに基礎的な演習問題等を用いたセミナーを行なう。受講者を6グループに分け，それぞれのグループに担当課題を割り当て，グループごとに調査・発表を行う．

To acquire knowledge on the basic theory, the seminar will be taught through reading basic textbooks etc. in the field. Students are divided into six groups, where each group will be assigned tasks, and will conduct surveys and presentations.

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
発表の評価50％，他のグループに対する討論50％，合計100点満点で60点以上を合格とする．
Evaluation of the presentation 50%, discussion with other groups 50%. A total of 60/100 points will pass.

資料は時流に応じて適切に指示する．
また，必要に応じて印刷配布する．
