授業の目的　【日本語】
Goals of the Course(JPN)
地球環境の変動について総合的な理解を深め、博士論文の作成に必要な論理構成力・考察力を養うことを目的とする。博士論文のサブテーマに関連する学術論文について、研究の背景や結果のまとめ方、考察の進め方など、自分なりの視点も加えて発表することで、博士論文作成に必要なスキルを身につける。さらに、自分の研究についての研究計画や進捗状況の紹介についても発表し、討論を経ることで、博士論文の作成に役立てる。セミナー1Eは2時限続きの1時限目である。（DP2、4に対応）

Goals of the Course
To understand changes in global environment, this seminar provides opportunity for (1) reading review articles of environmental changes, (2) presenting short summary of the review articles, and (3) discussing with other class members.（DP2,4）

上記セミナーのほか、プレゼンテーションの練習・資料作成を宿題として課す。
また履修者は本セミナーで実施される研究倫理教育ガイダンスの受講を必須とする。
To develop skills to formulate a PhD thesis, this seminar provides opportunity for writing short reports and presenting a part of thesis work.

Rehearsal of presentation and preparation of its materials will be required in advance.
All participants are required to attend the Guidance session on research ethics conducted as part of this seminar.

成績評価の方法と基準
Course Evaluation Method and Criteria
出席（10％）、レジュメの作成（30％）、発表内容（30％）、討論への参加状況（30％）。原則として、5回を超えて授業を休むものは「欠席」として扱い、単位を与えない。
Grading will be decided based on attendance (10%), resumes (30%), presentations (30%), and contributions to discussion (30%)
