Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | 少人数のセミナーの形式で，大学で学び研究するための最も基本的なスキル（コモン・ベーシック）としての読み（文献調査，考察，検討），書き（まとめ，報告書作成），話す（討論，発表）を中心とした多面的な知的トレーニングを行います。さらに「知の探究のプロセス」と「学問の面白さ」を学び，自立的学習能力を身につけることを目的としています。教員の研究分野に応じて多様なテーマが用意されています。 |

Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | This course is conducted in the form of a seminar with small groups. We will provide multifaceted intellectual training focused on reading (literature research, consideration, examination), writing (summary, report writing), and speaking (discussion, presentation) as the most basic skills (common basic) for learning and studying at university. Through this, our goal is to learn the "process of knowledge exploration" and "the fun of learning" and to acquire the independent learning ability. A wide variety of themes are prepared according to the research field of the instructors. |

Objectives of the Course [JPN] | | コロナ禍，自然災害，国際関係の緊張，政治の混乱，破壊的イノベーションによる大変革，今ほど生き残る技術を必要とする時はないのではないでしょうか？本セミナーのテーマ「生き残る技術」とは，３つの意味を含みます．第１に，名古屋大学の学生として，大学で如何に生き残るかに必要な技術（Skill）です．第２は，今後，社会人として日本で，世界で生き残る技術（Skill），そして最後は，今後どのような技術（Technology）が発展し，生き残っていくのか？について，多角的，主体的に学びます．
本セミナー受講終了時には，以下の知識，技能および能力を獲得できます．①大学で学ぶとうことの本当の意味を理解し，そのためにはどのように行動しなければならないか理解し実践できる．②大学卒業・修了後，社会人としてどのように行動すべきかを理解し実践できる．③今後，どのような技術が発展し生き残っていくかという知識を獲得する． |

Objectives of the Course [ENG] | | The theme of this seminar has three meanings. First, as a student at Nagoya University, it is a necessary skills for how to survive at the university. The second is the skills that will survive as a member of society in Japan and/or the world, and finally, what kind of technology will develop and survive in the future?
Courses designed to develop students' capabilities in the basic disciplines of reading,
writing, and speaking through wide-ranging intellectual training and to help students learn
both how to pursue truth and how interesting such an activity can be.
By the end of this seminar, participants will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities. (1) Understand the true meaning of studying at a university, and understand and be able to practice how to act for that purpose. (2) Understand and practice how to act as a member of society after graduation or completion of university. (3) To understand and practice how to act as a member of society after graduation from university. |

Message from the Instructor | | | 高校までの「学び」と大学および社会での「学び」には本質的な違いがあります．受験競争を終えたばかりの１年生には，その違いをイメージできないかもしれませんが，高校までの学びの姿勢だけでは，大学や社会に出てから躓きかねません．本セミナーでは，大学で，社会で生き残る技術（Skill）と，今後どのような技術（Technology）が発展し生き残っていくかというテーマを通じて，大学らしい学びを体験して欲しいと考えています．昨年度の授業評価アンケートでは，幸い高い評価をもらいました．課題は大変かもしれませんが，真の学びを体験してみてください． |
