Goals of the Course [JPN]
少人数のセミナーの形式で，大学で学び研究するための最も基本的なスキル（コモン・ベーシック）としての読み（文献調査，考察，検討），書き（まとめ，報告書作成），話す（討論，発表）を中心とした多面的な知的トレーニングを行います。さらに「知の探究のプロセス」と「学問の面白さ」を学び，自立的学習能力を身につけることを目的としています。教員の研究分野に応じて多様なテーマが用意されています。

Goals of the Course [ENG]
This course is conducted in the form of a seminar with small groups. We will provide multifaceted intellectual training focused on reading (literature research, consideration, examination), writing (summary, report writing), and speaking (discussion, presentation) as the most basic skills (common basic) for learning and studying at university. Through this, our goal is to learn the "process of knowledge exploration" and "the fun of learning" and to acquire the independent learning ability. A wide variety of themes are prepared according to the research field of the instructors.

Objectives of the Course [JPN]
本基礎セミナーにおいては、コンピュータを用いた音楽制作、いわゆるデスクトップミュージック(Desk Top Music: DTM)を題材としながら、文献・資料の検索や、コンピュータを用いた実践的な演習を通して、学んだことをレポートの形にまとめる作業、また他のセミナー受講者の前で分かりやすくプレゼンテーションをする、といった基本的なスキルを身につけることを目標としている。

Objectives of the Course [ENG]
In this seminar, we will focus on the subject of computer-based music production, a.k.a. "Desktop Music (DTM)," and through searching for literature and materials and practical exercises using computers, we aim to develop the basic skills of summarizing what we have learned in the form of reports and of making clear presentations in front of other seminar participants. The goal of the course is to help students acquire basic skills such as writing reports and giving presentations in front of other students in an easy-to-understand manner.
