社会科学と法学の技法 Social science and legal techniques 本授業科目は，初年次生を大学教育へ導入し，自立した学習能力を身につけるとともに，文・理に共通した基礎的学力や技能を養うために，多面的な知的トレーニングによって，コモンベーシックとしての読み，書き，話す能力のかん養を図るとともに，真理探究の方法と面白さを学ぶことが目的である。

Goals of the Course [JPN]
少人数のセミナーの形式で，大学で学び研究するための最も基本的なスキル（コモン・ベーシック）としての読み（文献調査，考察，検討），書き（まとめ，報告書作成），話す（討論，発表）を中心とした多面的な知的トレーニングを行います。さらに「知の探究のプロセス」と「学問の面白さ」を学び，自立的学習能力を身につけることを目的としています。教員の研究分野に応じて多様なテーマが用意されています。

Goals of the Course [ENG]
This course is conducted in the form of a seminar with small groups. We will provide multifaceted intellectual training focused on reading (literature research, consideration, examination), writing (summary, report writing), and speaking (discussion, presentation) as the most basic skills (common basic) for learning and studying at university. Through this, our goal is to learn the "process of knowledge exploration" and "the fun of learning" and to acquire the independent learning ability. A wide variety of themes are prepared according to the research field of the instructors.

Objectives of the Course [JPN]
毎回、報告担当（グループ）を決めて、詳細な報告をしてもらい、それに基づいて参加者全員で討論する予定である。学生は発表をすることを通じて、学習したことをアウトプット（報告）していく技法を学習する。当該報告に対して、教員や他の参加学生全員が討議することで、フィードバックを得られるようにする。

Objectives of the Course [ENG]
Each class will be scheduled to decide on a presentation (in a group). After the speakers give a detailed presentation, all students discuss about the topic.　Students learn how to output (report) what they have learned through giving presentations. Faculty members and other participating students can comment on the report and get feedback.
