Goals of the Course [JPN]
少人数のセミナーの形式で，大学で学び研究するための最も基本的なスキル（コモン・ベーシック）としての読み（文献調査，考察，検討），書き（まとめ，報告書作成），話す（討論，発表）を中心とした多面的な知的トレーニングを行います。さらに「知の探究のプロセス」と「学問の面白さ」を学び，自立的学習能力を身につけることを目的としています。教員の研究分野に応じて多様なテーマが用意されています。

Goals of the Course [ENG]
This course is conducted in the form of a seminar with small groups. We will provide multifaceted intellectual training focused on reading (literature research, consideration, examination), writing (summary, report writing), and speaking (discussion, presentation) as the most basic skills (common basic) for learning and studying at university. Through this, our goal is to learn the "process of knowledge exploration" and "the fun of learning" and to acquire the independent learning ability. A wide variety of themes are prepared according to the research field of the instructors.

Objectives of the Course [JPN]
名古屋大学の研究室を訪問取材し，その内容を他の人(高校生レベルを想定)が理解できるようにまとめ発表することを行う．これを通じて高校や大学での学修が実際の学問にどのように関係するのかの理解を深める．また，訪問取材許可をえるための大学教員への適切な連絡方法，取材対象をより深く理解するための文献や資料の入手・探索手法，そして自分の発見や理解を発表する技術の向上を目指す．

Objectives of the Course [ENG]
In this lecture, students select and visit research labs at Nagoya University to learn what they are doing. Then they make presentations on the research activities of the labs in a way that other people (assuming high school students) can understand. The students will deepen their understanding of the relationship between school subjects and real-world research. In addition, they learn appropriate ways to contact faculty members and various methods to get the necessary information, including how to contact faculty members.

この授業では，皆さんが選んだ名古屋大学の研究室を訪問・取材し，名古屋大学の幅広い研究活動を知るとともに，その内容を，一般の人に伝えるという課題を実施します．自分の専門分野外の研究室を取材することも，おすすめします．担当者は専門分野(無線通信)の研究者であるだけでなく，「アイデア を出して検証してまとめて発表する」という技術においても「プロ」です.担当者がその経験で得た 知識や技能を，基礎セミナという少人数教育で伝えていくことを，この授業では大事にしたいと思っ ています.　全分野の学生を歓迎します．
