Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | 少人数のセミナーの形式で，大学で学び研究するための最も基本的なスキル（コモン・ベーシック）としての読み（文献調査，考察，検討），書き（まとめ，報告書作成），話す（討論，発表）を中心とした多面的な知的トレーニングを行います。さらに「知の探究のプロセス」と「学問の面白さ」を学び，自立的学習能力を身につけることを目的としています。教員の研究分野に応じて多様なテーマが用意されています。 |

Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | This course is conducted in the form of a seminar with small groups. We will provide multifaceted intellectual training focused on reading (literature research, consideration, examination), writing (summary, report writing), and speaking (discussion, presentation) as the most basic skills (common basic) for learning and studying at university. Through this, our goal is to learn the "process of knowledge exploration" and "the fun of learning" and to acquire the independent learning ability. A wide variety of themes are prepared according to the research field of the instructors. |

Objectives of the Course [JPN] | | 批判的思考とは、ものごとを論理的に多角的に判断する思考です。「相手を批判する思考」というよりも、自分の思考が論理的かどうかを意識的に吟味する思考法です。この授業では、それを、自分や相手の心の働きや行動，社会問題（保健、医療、環境、政治、国際情勢など）、大学での学習や研究に対して適用できるようになることです。そして、賢い学習者、良き市民を目指すことにあります。
【目標】
以下に挙げる５つのプロセスを通して、未知の事象や問題に対する探究心や創造性、問題解決能力に向けた基本スキルと、批判的思考を基本とする論理的・客観的な思考法を身につける。
① 課題（問題）を明らかにする，
② 課題検討のための調査活動を行う，
③ 調査結果を論理的にまとめること，
④ 課題に対する解答を考察すること，
⑤ ①～④までに関する学習内容を発表および討議し、文章に仕上げる。 |

Objectives of the Course [ENG] | | Through the following five processes:
Acquire a spirit of inquiry into unknown phenomena and problems, creativity, and basic problem-solving skills, as well as logical and objective thinking methods based on critical thinking.
(1) Identify issues (problems)
(2) Investigation activities to study the issues
(3) Summarize the investigation results logically
(4) Consider solutions to the problem
(5) Present and discuss what has been learned from (1) to (4) above, and complete the written work. |
