Goals of the Course [JPN]
現代は高度情報処理社会となっており、情報技術は半導体や光ネットワーク、高速なコンピュータなどの先端技術によって支えられています。これらの先端技術の発展には量子力学の理解は欠かすことはできず、現代社会は量子技術によって成立しているといっても過言ではありません。このセミナーでは、量子と関連した先端技術(原子、固体、超伝導体、量子技術に基づく経済活動、フィンテック、SDGｓなど）、その社会的背景、波及効果について、自分が興味を持ったことを調べて発表し、討論します。これにより、社会に対する理解を深めるとともに、発表し、討論する能力も身につけることを目指します。

Goals of the Course [ENG]
In this seminar, we will investigate, present, and discuss issues related to the quantum world, advanced technologies related to quantum, and their social background. Students will acquire the ability to investigate and present themes related to the quantum world (atoms, solids, superconductors, the history of the development of quantum mechanics, modern society and advanced technology, etc.). Cultivate intellectual curiosity and presentation skills.
