Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | 少人数のセミナーの形式で，大学で学び研究するための最も基本的なスキル（コモン・ベーシック）としての読み（文献調査，考察，検討），書き（まとめ，報告書作成），話す（討論，発表）を中心とした多面的な知的トレーニングを行います。さらに「知の探究のプロセス」と「学問の面白さ」を学び，自立的学習能力を身につけることを目的としています。教員の研究分野に応じて多様なテーマが用意されています。 |

Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | This course is conducted in the form of a seminar with small groups. We will provide multifaceted intellectual training focused on reading (literature research, consideration, examination), writing (summary, report writing), and speaking (discussion, presentation) as the most basic skills (common basic) for learning and studying at university. Through this, our goal is to learn the "process of knowledge exploration" and "the fun of learning" and to acquire the independent learning ability. A wide variety of themes are prepared according to the research field of the instructors. |

Objectives of the Course [JPN] | | | 自分が抱いた社会に関する「謎」を、学問的に意義のある「問い」へ鍛え、「論理と証拠」をもちいて解く、という姿勢を習得することが目的です。社会学による謎解きの一端を学び、自分でも実践してみることで、「知の探究のプロセス」と「学問の面白さ」を学んでほしいと思います。一連の授業を通じて、「考える」、「読む」、「調べる」、「書く」、「話す」という学問の基礎を培うことがねらいです。 |

Objectives of the Course [ENG] | | | The purpose of this course is to help students develop an attitude of solving "mysteries" about society with "logic and evidence" by developing academically meaningful questions. We hope that students will learn the "process of knowledge inquiry" and the "fun of learning" by learning a part of solving mysteries through sociology and practicing it on their own. Through a series of classes, we aim to cultivate the fundamentals of academic study: thinking, reading, researching, writing, and speaking. |
